Happy National Assistant Principals Day to Mrs. Cooper, Mr. Pentiuk, and Mrs. Kelley! Our Assistant Principals give their best to our Mustangs every day, and we are so grateful for their leadership. Thank you for always going above and beyond supporting our school and making a difference in our student's lives. We appreciate you!

It's Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! Our paraprofessionals are vital in ensuring student success. They inspire, motivate, empower and challenge students every day, all while helping teachers. If you see a paraprofessional today, be sure to say THANK YOU!

From our Mustang family to yours, we wish you all a happy and healthy Easter!

Art continues to play a critical role in students' social and emotional learning as well as in the development of problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Youth Art Month festivities help to highlight the innovative work of both students and educators.
Each week throughout March, we will highlight artwork showcased in State and Central Ohio Region virtual art exhibitions in recognition of Youth Art Month.

Westfall has seven teams invited to compete at the Future Problem Solving (FPS) State Bowl based on their booklet about Human Environmental Impact. It will be a virtual bowl held on Friday, April 16. There are three sixth-grade teams, three eighth-grade teams, and one HS team.
Congratulations to the students that were invited:
Sixth grade: Haley Spangler, Carly Atwood, Lydia Colahan, Audra Anderson, Rayne Seymour, Rowan Foreman, Lily Patterson, Jaelyn Jacobs, Ian Camden, Emory Dumm, Ryan Moss, and Carson Deskins.
Eighth grade: Lauren Barnes, Amelia Fisher, Savanna Vulgamore
Paige Weiss, Reese Paudicz, Isabella Patete, Tara Wolfe, Josh Trapp, Nathan Wolfe, Mitchell Ruff, and Jared Thomas.
High School: Jaxxie Marcum, Corey Thompson, Lyndsey Daum, and Olivia Barnes.
They will be writing a booklet on Personalized Medicine as a submission for the state competition. Good luck, Mustangs!

Ms. Wolfe's Kindergarten class walked over to the middle school yesterday to deliver over 2,600 plastic bottle caps and lids, donating them toward the recycling project that transforms them into benches that will last a lifetime. The true value comes from the profound experience that children can make a difference! They can see, sit on, and donate to their community the very results of their work, which is the most-perfect-real-life example of sustainability. Great job, Mustangs!

Just a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL Thursday, April 1 - Monday, April 5 for Spring Break! Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Congratulations to Sharon Link for being presented with Sunny 95 and CME Federal Credit Union Hometown Hero Award! Nominated by co-worker Devon Ryan, Sharon is a true servant of the Westfall community. She works tirelessly as a high school special education teacher, collaborating with others to improve access for her students. She volunteers with the athletics program for fundraising and volunteers before school with the Pickaway County Homeless Shelter. On top of all this, Sharon is integral to the functioning of Westfall CARES, which serves families in the school district that face food insecurity. Thank you for all you do for the community and our #mustangfamily, Sharon! You truly are our "Hometown Hero!"
