The teacher appreciation grant will be awarded to three teachers from each school, WES, WMS, & WHS, earning them grant funds that will be spent on classroom resources, directly impacting student needs.

Ms. Wolfe's Kindergarten class walked over to the middle school yesterday to deliver over 2,600 plastic bottle caps and lids, donating them toward the recycling project that transforms them into benches that will last a lifetime. The true value comes from the profound experience that children can make a difference! They can see, sit on, and donate to their community the very results of their work, which is the most-perfect-real-life example of sustainability. Great job, Mustangs!

Congratulations to Sharon Link for being presented with Sunny 95 and CME Federal Credit Union Hometown Hero Award! Nominated by co-worker Devon Ryan, Sharon is a true servant of the Westfall community. She works tirelessly as a high school special education teacher, collaborating with others to improve access for her students. She volunteers with the athletics program for fundraising and volunteers before school with the Pickaway County Homeless Shelter. On top of all this, Sharon is integral to the functioning of Westfall CARES, which serves families in the school district that face food insecurity. Planning is now underway for our next group of incoming Mustangs! If you have a child who will be five years old on or before July 31, 2021, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year. If your child is currently enrolled in Westfall's preschool program, you will still need to register your child for Kindergarten.
