Due to today’s snow day, our Color War has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 20, to promote school spirit for our 3rd Quarter PBIS Assembly!

Classes with high participation are eligible to win the Spirit Stick. Color assignments: Preschool – green; Kindergarten – red; 1st grade – pink; 2nd grade – orange; 3rd grade – yellow; 4th grade – purple; 5th grade – blue. Background features colorful paint splashes.

To ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families, and to allow for additional cleanup on many of our district roads, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED today, Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Several of our students had the opportunity to receive free eye exams and custom eyewear, all provided at no cost!

The iSee program bridges the gap by bringing eye care directly to schools, ensuring that every child has access to the vision services they need to succeed.

A huge thank you to our counselors, who made this possible, and to the doctors and volunteers who donated their time and expertise to provide these services to our students.

WES Student Council is hosting a sock drive from January 14 to 23. Please bring in any pairs of new socks- they can be any size, kind, or material. Our goal is to collect 1,000 pairs of socks! All socks collected will be given to homeless shelters and women's shelters, as well as local churches, throughout Pickaway and its surrounding counties. If we meet our goal, the school will earn lollipops!

We received more mail! Miss Wolfe’s third-grade class received another exciting package from the NFL—this time from Jordyn’s team, the Minnesota Vikings!

At the start of football season, Miss Wolfe’s students “tackled” an engaging project that brought football into the classroom. As part of their math lessons, students drafted NFL teams and tracked weekly team and quarterback statistics to build their data skills. They also practiced their writing by sending letters to the teams they drafted.

Jordyn received a very special handwritten card with a direct response to her letter, wishing her well and encouraging her to follow her dreams. They even included some fun trading cards as a keepsake! Thank you to the Minnesota Vikings for making her day!

The WHS Drama Class is excited to present "Closed for the Holidays," a comedy by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus.

The story follows a group of travelers stranded in a community center during a Christmas Eve blizzard. From a drama teacher with a bus full of students to a couple racing to get married and a sheriff trying to keep order, each character brings humor and heart to this serendipitous holiday adventure.

Performances will be held on Saturday, December 20, at 7:00 PM and Sunday, December 21, at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $5 each and on sale now at the link below or at the door. We hope you’ll join us for a festive and entertaining show!

We recently celebrated our December Students of the Month at Westfall Elementary School! Families joined us for some delicious donuts while we recognized our outstanding students for their hard work and dedication. Each student received a special token for our new book vending machine, making it an extra sweet reward! We’re so proud of our students and can’t wait to see them dive into their new books! Way to go, Mighty Mustangs!

REMINDER: Westfall Local Schools will have a 2-hour early release for students on Friday, December 19, to begin winter break.

Students will be released at the following times:
High School: 12:30 PM
Middle School: 12:30 PM
Elementary School: 1:30 PM

Classes will not be in session for students from December 22 through January 5 to celebrate the holidays. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
