Miss Wolfe’s third-grade class has stepped up to the plate this spring—bringing baseball into the classroom! Students drafted MLB teams, used geography skills to locate ballparks across the United States, and incorporated baseball-themed word problems into their daily math lessons. They will continue tracking their teams’ wins and losses throughout the school year to solve a variety of math problems.
The students have already begun receiving responses. Ian Stinner opened a letter from the Cleveland Guardians, and Jackson McKinney received a letter from the Los Angeles Angels.
We’re hopeful that a few more teams step up to the plate and send mail before the end of the year. Thank you to both organizations for making learning unforgettable for our students!
To enroll a new student, parents and guardians can visit https://westfall-oh.finalforms.com/, create an account, and complete the required information. Please ensure both required proofs of residency are uploaded into the portal.

The Village of Williamsport is seeking parents/guardians who currently reside in the Williamsport area to participate in a Community Focus Group as part of the Village’s Comprehensive Plan process.
This conversation will help guide the future of Williamsport by gathering input on development, infrastructure, connectivity, community identity, public safety, parks and recreation, housing, and community events.
The focus group will take place on April 2 at 6:00 PM in the Westfall Local Schools Community Room at 19463 Pherson Pike. Community voices are an important part of this planning process, and we encourage families who live in the Williamsport area to participate.
