
In the first-grade learning lab, students used the engineering process to design a bat. Then, they tested how far it could fly, evaluated how well it flew and made adjustments for improvement while having a great time measuring with non-standard units of measurement (their feet)!

Items from the Westfall Elementary Tri-C fundraiser will be available for pick up on Wednesday, November 2 in front of the school from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.

Recently, our Kindergarten students were gifted a donated book, purchased through memorial funds from the family and friends of Larry Roush, community member and great supporter of literacy. The children were very excited to choose a book of their very own to keep!

Our Lost & Found is overflowing! Please remind your child to check the racks to see if they find any of their missing items! In addition, items will be put on a table for parents to check during Parent-Teacher Conferences.


Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up in November! You can meet teachers in person, virtually through a Google Meet, or over the phone. Sign-up sheets have been sent home with students this week.


Westfall Elementary Harvest Parties will be held Friday, October 28, from 2:00-3:00 PM (with the exception of AM preschool). Parents/Guardians, if attending your student's party, please arrive at the front office promptly at 2:00 PM to receive your visitor pass.

The Pickaway County Educational Service Center (ESC), in partnership with parentguidance.org, is hosting a Zoom-based educational series. This series of Zoom meetings, led by licensed therapists, will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. WES Student Council is hosting a traditional Trunk or Treat Wednesday, October 26, from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Staff and community members will be set up in front of the school. You can park your car and walk on the sidewalk to visit each car to get candy and treats.
WES Student Council and the Field of Dreams Committee will host two silent auctions at this event. Student Council will be auctioning off painted foam pumpkins. The proceeds will go toward providing Christmas meals for WES families. Field of Dreams Committee will be auctioning off decorated-themed Christmas trees. The proceeds from this auction will go back to WES in Tiffany Elster's memory to provide enrichment grants for students and staff.
