Our student bus ambassadors assist younger students in the daily dismissal process to ensure everyone has a safe journey home. We celebrated their hard work with a party before the holiday break! Thank you to our responsible student helpers!

WES partnered with the American Red Cross this holiday season to provide joy and comfort to our senior population at nursing homes throughout the county. Several student helpers assisted in organizing gift bags with comfort items such as blankets, lotion, movies, and books.

Crafting for Christmas! Mrs. Wippel's 2nd graders worked with Ms. Rawlings' 4th graders to create a cute Christmas craft to take home to their families.

5th-grader Brooklyn Shipley received a holiday surprise at school today when she was greeted by her older brother and recent Westfall grad, Airman Tyler Shipley, who just returned home after completing Tech School at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. To all the soldiers away from their families this holiday season, we thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Eight members of the Boys' Varsity Basketball team stopped by Westfall Elementary this morning to read to our students! The impact of having student-athletes in the classroom creates role models that our young Mustangs can aspire to be as they get older.

After completing a unit on financial literacy, our 5th-grade students recently attended JA Biztown of Columbus. In this simulated town, they had the opportunity to work at businesses like Huntington Bank, Donatos, or State Farm Insurance, earning a paycheck and budgeting their income.
This hands-on experience helped students work together in teams, learn how to manage money through their savings and checking accounts, and see the importance of making a profit while avoiding a loss for their company.
