Today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Our bus drivers play an important role in the safety of our students. They dedicate their time and talent to ensure our students are transported safely to and from school and activities each day. They are unsung heroes in our Westfall community, and we appreciate them not only today but every day!
Teachers inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. In the past year, they persevered despite the challenges thrown their way amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While thanking teachers should not be a once-a-year event, we have an opportunity with Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7, to share our gratitude. We want to take a moment and thank these six individuals for their hard work and dedication to Westfall Local Schools. Janet Adams (WES), Carole Moore (WES), Tish Chenoweth (WMS), Liz Durflinger (WHS), Tammee Kaminski (WHS Guidance), and Paula Dumm (District).
These six ladies are the glue that helps keep our school together! They keep our buildings running smoothly, make sure students are where they are supposed to be, and always provide a friendly face for parents and community members when they enter our school.
