Pickaway Family and Children First and Pickaway Health Network are hosting a FREE community event for families on Saturday, April 4, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds.
The event will feature free food, food vendors, youth and family activities, a bounce house for younger children, and an obstacle course for older youth. Families can also experience the “Hidden in Plain Sight” exhibit and connect with helpful resources from many local organizations.
Entertainment will include live performances from Studio One students and music from the Circleville Jazz Band, along with a calming sensory room available for anyone who may need a quiet break.
Volunteers are also needed. Teens seeking community service hours for organizations such as 4-H, FFA, National Honor Society, or other groups are welcome to help, and their service hours can be verified.

Westfall is partnering with Pickaway County schools and agencies to host the 2nd Annual Autism Summit. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 11, at Ohio Christian University. This engaging event is valuable for families, educators, and the autism community, focusing on meaningful strategies.
Keynote speaker Jordyn Zimmerman, a passionate educator and disability advocate, will share her experiences and perspectives. Throughout the day, explore sessions on helping children with autism build emotional regulation, transitioning school strategies into the home, and using conscious discipline. Sessions will also cover the PLAY Project, maintaining healthy relationships, assistive technology tools for diverse learners, and critical future planning regarding guardianship, benefits, and STABLE accounts.
The summit will take place at Ohio Christian University’s Maxwell Center, 1476 Lancaster Pike, Circleville, OH. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, learn, and grow within a supportive community.

The revised 2025-2026 district calendar is attached. Calamity days serve as make-up days if delays and/or closures exceed state-mandated minimum hours of instruction for our students. This revision adds three calamity days—June 1, 2, and 3—to the current 2025–2026 calendar. The Board of Education approved the revised calendar at its February 17, 2026, regular meeting. Additionally, the memorandum of understanding with the WEA to add calamity days to the district calendar was approved at the January 12, 2026, regular meeting.

Due to ongoing inclement weather in parts of our district, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED today, Monday, February 23.
