At our January board meeting, the re-elected members of the Westfall Local School District Board of Education took their oath of office to officially continue their service to the Mustang community.
We’d like to officially congratulate Mrs. Christy Rigsby and Mr. Sean Ruth on their re-election.
Additionally, the Westfall Local School District Board of Education elected Mr. Mark Ruff as President and Mrs. Brook Ruoff as Vice President of the 2026 school board.
As part of January’s School Board Recognition Month, we thanked each of our board members for their service and dedication to our students and our community, as well as their leadership into the new decade. Their hard work and commitment are very much appreciated!

Information about tonight's canceled girls basketball game.

To ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families, and to allow for additional cleanup on many of our district roads, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED today, Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Due to inclement weather, Westfall Local Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, Thursday, January 15. As a result, there will be NO AM Preschool this morning.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be NO SCHOOL for students and staff on Monday, January 19, 2026. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Join us this Saturday, January 17, for our high school boys' basketball game and a 50/50 raffle to support WHS Prom. The winner will be announced at halftime of the Varsity game. Don’t miss your chance to take home half the proceeds while helping our students!

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held before the Varsity Boys Basketball game vs. Zane Trace (Approximately 7:00 PM)

The WHS Drama Class is excited to present "Closed for the Holidays," a comedy by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus.
The story follows a group of travelers stranded in a community center during a Christmas Eve blizzard. From a drama teacher with a bus full of students to a couple racing to get married and a sheriff trying to keep order, each character brings humor and heart to this serendipitous holiday adventure.
