This delay allows for buses to run during daylight hours for improved safety. Please bundle up, drive carefully, and stay safe on the roads.

Due to the recent snow days, our Color War has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 16. Get ready to show your school spirit as we gear up for our 3rd-quarter PBIS Assembly!


To ensure the safety of our students, student drivers, staff, and families and to allow for additional cleanup on many of our district roads, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.


Due to the current weather conditions, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

REMINDER: Westfall Local Schools will have a 2-hour early release for students tomorrow, December 20, to kick off winter break!
Students will be released at the following times:
High School: 12:30 PM
Middle School: 12:30 PM
Elementary School: 1:30 PM
Classes will not be in session for students from December 23 through January 6 to celebrate the holidays. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Our 12 Days of Christmas continues as we near Winter Break! As a reminder, our K-5 students follow the 12 Days of Christmas calendar, and our PreK students follow the 11 Days of Christmas calendar to account for their Fridays off. Let's keep the holiday spirit going!



Flyin' Flapjacks! Our students had a delicious start to the day on Tuesday, catching Chris Cakes pancakes for breakfast! Many thanks to Chris Cakes of Ohio, our staff, and outstanding student council members who organized this event and helped prep, serve, and clean!

Our annual tradition begins soon: 12 Days of Christmas, celebrating the last 12 school days before Winter Break! K-5 students, the first day begins Thursday, December 5. Our PreK edition begins Tuesday, December 3, to take into account their Fridays off.

Due to dense fog in the area, Westfall Local Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay schedule today, Wednesday, November 20, 2024. As a result, there will be no AM Preschool.


Miss Haberthier's preschoolers had a blast celebrating their 50th day of school by dressing up in true 50s style! From poodle skirts to leather jackets, they looked the part as they had fun with 50-inspired activities.











Next week is Thanks & Giving Week at Westfall Elementary! Kick off the week by showing your team spirit—donate $1 to wear your favorite Ohio State or Michigan gear on Monday, November 25. Then, on Tuesday, November 26, get cozy and donate $1 to wear your PJs to school!


Congratulations to our Kindergarten students who graduated from the DARE program this week! We’re so proud that Deputy Hamlin offers our students this unique opportunity to build a strong foundation for making good choices and staying safe!




We love visits from Randy! Randy, the therapy dog, and handler Chase Bergoon from the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office returned yesterday to visit with our students and Veterans Day guests! What a great way to start the week! Thank you, Randy and Chase, for stopping by!
