We celebrated our May Students of the Month at Westfall Elementary School yesterday morning! Families joined us for delicious donuts while we recognized our outstanding students for their hard work and dedication. Each student received a special token for our new book vending machine, making it an extra sweet reward! We're so proud of our students and can't wait to see them dive into their new books! Field Day is Tuesday, May 26!

Permission slips have been sent home with students and are due back by May 18. We’re excited to welcome parent volunteers! To help the day run smoothly, parents may attend while volunteering at a station. If you’re interested, please return the volunteer form that was sent home.

As you prepare for the day, please send students dressed in layers, with a water bottle, a hat or sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Tattoo A Teacher Form - An informational flyer for a school fundraiser titled Tattoo a Teacher running from April 27th to May 6th. Yearbooks have arrived and will be coming home this week! If you forgot to order a yearbook, a limited number of extras are available for purchase. They are $25 and can be purchased with cash (exact change, please; no change is available) or by check made payable to Westfall Elementary School. We will sell them on a first-come, first-served basis until they are gone! You can email Miss Wynkoop at katie.wynkoop@westfallschools.com to reserve an extra yearbook for your student, or send in payment with your student to purchase one.

Our America 250 Extravaganza was a tremendous success, a fun-filled evening of learning, celebration, and community. Guests enjoyed free pizza, explored hands-on craft stations, and had the chance to win door prizes. Many tried their luck with the estimation jars, and our Musical Mustangs delivered a wonderful performance.

Each student received a free book to take home, and every guest left with a mini American flag as a keepsake. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating America 250 and helping make the event such a memorable experience.

Get ready for a fun way to support our students with Westfall Elementary’s ‘Tattoo a Teacher’ fundraiser! From April 27 through May 6, students can choose participating teachers or staff members and purchase school-appropriate temporary tattoos for them to wear. On May 12, staff will proudly show off every tattoo purchased.

This optional fundraiser helps provide field trips and additional opportunities for our students. Forms and payment can be sent in with students, and all orders must be turned in by May 6.
