Westfall's Community Service class and our FFA chapter are holding a clothing drive this month! Drop-off locations are in the front offices of the middle and high schools. It's a great way to begin spring cleaning and help worthy service organizations.
Congratulations to our Staff Member of the Month, Caryn Dinneen! Mrs. Dinneen is an Educational Aide at WMS. Fellow staff members nominated her for her dedication to success and commitment to student achievement!
Sister's Closet is currently accepting gently used age-appropriate formal wear for both boys and girls to help ease the financial burden and help students enjoy the experience of school dances. All sizes are needed, along with dress shoes and accessories. Donations can be made at the middle school or by contacting michelle.gamboni@westfallschools.com.

Due to slick roads in the district, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED today, Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
In an abundance of caution due to the projected weather forecast for the area, Westfall Local Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. As a result, there will be no AM preschool. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions and keep you informed if there are any further schedule changes.

Upcoming Athletic Events (January 17-21)
Students in Mr. Leib's 6th grade Math class recently took on the challenge of blowing up candy wrappers - drawn to a larger scale. A scale drawing is a smaller or larger representation of a real-life object on paper using proportions and scales to make it an accurate representation. They each created a grid on a poster that represents the blocks used for the enlargement. This project taught them about scale factors, proportions, and ratios.
