Feel Good Friday: Today, Mrs. Davey celebrated Feel Good Friday a little differently with her 8th-grade English Language Arts students! In honor of Dolly Parton's "Give Like Dolly Day" on 9-two-5 (9/25), she and her class toasted Sweet Tea before watching a video interview in which Dolly speaks about her childhood and the inspiration behind her Imagination Library.

Mrs. Davey reminded her students that, like Dolly, we all have the opportunity to leave our mark on the world—to find our own way to make a difference, whether big or small, to give back, and to leave a legacy that makes the world a little better than we found it.

Mr. Bullock's 8th-grade science class conducted a density lab and predicted how oil, rubbing alcohol, dish soap, and maple syrup would settle. Students measured 50 mL of each liquid and calculated the density to determine the correct order, reinforcing concepts of density and the Earth's interior.
