On Friday, November 20th 11:30-1:00 PM, the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics will be hosting a FREE virtual webinar on Teen Suicide Prevention. Participants will learn about the dangers and potential warning signs of suicide and will receive free information on educational resources. Parents and teens directly impacted by teen suicide will also be in attendance to share their stories. The event is open to everyone….parents, teenagers, educators, and anyone interested in learning about ways to help prevent suicide among teens. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for Ohio teens and has increased by over 56% over the past 10 years and the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact.
