BPA Success at Regional Competition

As a part of Business Professionals of America (BPA), students have the opportunity to compete in a variety of business and technology competitions. The first round of competition is the regional competition. 

Westfall competed against schools from Canal Winchester, Eastland Career Center, Fort Hayes Career Center, Pickaway Ross, Southwestern Career Academy, Pickerington North, and Columbus Downtown High School. 

The Region 14 Awards Ceremony was held on Friday, January 27, at Grace Fellowship Church in Pickerington. Competitors that finish in the top 2 in judged events and top 4 in tested events in regional competitions advance to the State Conference in Columbus and compete against schools throughout Ohio.

Small Business Team (Lauren Barnes, Dawson Spaniol, Paige Weiss, Tara Wolfe) finished 1st in the region and will advance to the State Conference in Columbus.

Presentation Management Team (Mckayla Ladley and Caitlyn Shipley) finished 2nd in the region and will advance to the State Conference in Columbus.

Entrepreneurship (Nick Brooks) finished 2nd in the region and will advance to the State Conference in Columbus.

Website Design Team (Brian Schobeloch and Brandon Bingham) finished 3rd in the region.

Personal Financial Management (Christina Gardner) finished 3rd in the region and will advance to the State Conference in Columbus.
