Westfall Athletics recognized the 2023 Winter Sports Senior Athletes before the start of the Varsity Basketball game vs. Piketon on Friday, February 10, 2023.
Skylar Birtcher
Skylar is being escorted by her mom and stepdad Monika and Tim Birtcher. Skylar was also a member of our football cheerleading squad. She participates in the musicals here at Westfall, as well as swing choir. Skylar will be going to Ohio University to receive a bachelor of science degree in Child and Family Studies.
Summer Hanson
Summer is being escorted by Danny and Amanda Hanson. Summer was a 4-year varsity football sideline cheerleader, 3 years of basketball cheer, will be starting her 4th year of track, and has been a part of the competition cheer team for 2 years.
She has been a member of the drug-free club of America for 4 years, a 2nd-year member of the National Honor Society, and a 1st-year member of Student Council.
Summer is still undecided on which college to attend, but plans to study neuroscience and plans to cheer at the collegiate level.
Haley Messmer
Haley is being escorted by Tasha Jones, Justin Messmer, and her little brother Jansen. Haley is a 4-year varsity football cheerleader, a 4-year varsity basketball cheerleader, and a head cheer captain.
She is a 4-year member of the Drug-Free Club of America, attended Pickaway Ross for Allied Health, was a part of the FFA for two years, and in her spare time helps out with youth sports.
Hailey plans to go to nursing school and get her bachelor of science degree in nursing. Hailey wants to work in the NICU helping newborn babies.
Bailee Thomas
Bailee is being escorted by her parents, Trevor and Lucy Thomas.
Bailee is a member of the Drug-Free Club of America and her church youth group.
Bailee plans to attend college to become an elementary school teacher.
Casey Cline
Casey is being escorted by his parents Joe and Lisa Cline, and brother Caleb Cline. Casey has been a member of our football and baseball teams at Westfall.
He is a member of the Drug-Free Club of America, National Honor Society, and has continuously been on the honor roll here at Westfall.
Casey will continue his education and plans to play football at Ave Maria University near Naples, Florida, and wants to major in Sports Management.
Blaec Bugher
Blaec is being escorted by his grandfather Bill Bugher, uncle Jason Bugher, aunt Angie Ray, and cousins Natalie and Cooper Ray. Blaec has been a member of our football team at Westfall.
He is a member of the Drug-Free Club of America and plays AAU basketball.
Blaec is undecided on where he will attend college but plans to play college basketball while pursuing a degree in Sports Management.
Isaiah Browning
Isaiah is being escorted by Dena and David Browning. Isaiah was also a member of our football team here at Westfall.
Isaiah is undecided about where he is going to college. But plans to further his education while playing football.
Seth Gifford
Seth is being escorted by his mother, Megan, father, John, sister Ella, and brother Evan. Seth is about to start his 4th year of baseball here at Westfall.
He is a 4-year member of the Drug-Free Club of America and on the honor roll at Westfall. He is a member of the youth group at Highland Baptist Church.
Seth plans to go to college for engineering.
Caleb “Coach G” Graul
Caleb is being escorted by his parents, Charlie and Brittany Graul. Caleb is a member of our baseball team here at Westfall.
Caleb is undecided about his future plans.
