Westfall Elementary School Parent Advisory Committee is proud to announce an evening of adventures in literature... IN COSTUME!
Join us on January 24, 2024, from 5:30 - 7:00 PM for games, fort-building, crafts, pizza, Masked Readers, and a very special visit with Cindy Rovtar, author of Welcome to the World, Squirrelly Q!
Students will be hearing clues about our very sneaky Masked Readers at WES from now until January 24. You can only find out the true identities of our Masked Readers at Character Quest.
Students will receive colorable reading-tracking bookmarks from their homeroom teacher to track their reading from December 8, 2023, through January 24, 2024.
Students who turn in their bookmarks at the event and show continued reading throughout winter break and January will earn a chance at some awesome prizes, including the chance to reveal a Masked Reader on stage!
Students can choose a costume theme, book, or adventure theme to wear to our event. Let’s get dressed up to celebrate our favorite stories and characters! Please make sure all costumes are school-appropriate and friendly for all children. Join us for a spectacular night of literary joy!
