Williamsport—The Westfall FFA Chapter recently participated in the District Ag Sales contest held at Lancaster High School. The team of Sarah Johnson, Devonah Kaiser, Traci McClain and Montana McFarland placed fifth in the District.
Johnson was the 2ndplace individual scorer out of 36 participants in the competition. The team was required to prepare a sales demonstration of an agricultural product. Westfall’s team demonstrated selling a variety of agricultural products. In addition, teams are required to take a written test on sales procedures and participate in a practicum involving customer relations.
The Westfall Agricultural Education department is satellite program of the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center.
